I know it was hinted at already on this blog- but I want to go ahead and officially announce that JARROD AND STEPHANIE ... (dramatic pause)... (Music please)...GOT TO SEE A STAR WARS EXHIBIT! Allow me to share some of the highlights from this wonderful experience (enjoy the pictures)!

The picture above is the entrance to the exhibit. A ticket was 13,000 Won- and well worth it might I add.

We saw many costumes from the movies throughout the exhibit. Do you recognize these? (I guess the photo of the jedis give it away) Oh and yes, those are actual lightsabers used in the movies: Mace Windu's, Darth Sidious', and Luke Skywalker's. Seeing these definitely gave me a rush! Growing up I had to make due with whatever vaguely resembled a lightsaber- it was only a dream that I would actually get to see a real one with my own eyes! :)

Steph and I saw many models they used for the movies and here you can see a tie fighter and the Millennium Falcon...Deep Breath...Whew!

It was fun to be able to pose with Stephanie and Boba Fett- Did I just put those two names in the same sentence?!

Stephanie is holding up a Storm Trooper? Man... This is DEFINITELY a day to remember!

Here's a photo of me with C-3PO and R2-D2. These droids were actually used in the movies with a person inside each of them. I have their Star Wars cards but never thought I'd get to see them in person. :)

Jarrod, I mean Anakin's Podracer (minus the Engines)...

I was told this model Star Destroyer was used in the movies for multiple star destroyers. The details on this ship were amazing.

And I thought he was big in the movie!

This photo is one to write home about... then save the letter and show my kids! I had a unique opportunity to stand next to the actual Darth Vader from the original movies. (He really wasn't that intimidating... :)

Since we were about the only people in the exhibit at the time, the employees took care of us by taking our picture, sharing their knowledge of Star Wars with us, and giving us stuff to play with. In this photo Stephanie and I are playing on the blue screen. Our bodies (not covered by the cloth) would be projected on a video screen and we got to act along with the movie :)

And finally, my star wars blog entry wouldn't be complete without a snap of Jarrod the Jedi. Now if I could only convince Stephanie of my abilities...then maybe she'd let me buy the $250 lightsaber they had on special in the gift shop!
